History's Turning Points: Crisis in Korea — This part of the series documents US General MacArthur's anticommunist crusade against North Korea. When Chinese troops crossed the border, MacArthur had to retreat in humiliation when his request to detonate 26 atomic bombs was refused. SBS, Wednesday, December 8, 7.30pm.

The Big Picture: Jimi Hendrix: The Man They Made God — An intimate portrait of the guitarist who inspired a generation and was dead by the age of 27. Hendrix's amazing guitar playing and provocative stage acts made him a legend. ABC TV, Thursday, December 9, 9.30pm.
