Why

Join us in a public forum featuring Palestinian academic and writer Professor Mazin Qumsiyeh.

Professor Qumsiyeh has been writing on Palestine for the past three decades, on topics ranging from the environmental impacts of colonization to environmental and climate justice to cultural heritage to human rights to biodiversity conservation to cancer.

The forum will be hosted by a range of Wollongong organising groups, including Wollongong Friends of Palestine, Wollongong Against War and Nukes, and Protect Our Water Alliance.

This is a unique opportunity to bring together struggles for decolonisation, Indigenous land rights, and the liberation of Palestine, with struggles for food and water sovereignty, and climate justice-- in Palestine and beyond.

This is a FREE event, but seating is limited. Please reserve your place via Humanitix: https://events.humanitix.com/palestine-the-environmental...
