The streets rang out with chants of "Be our voice", "Woman, Life, Freedom" and "One solution: revolution" as thousands marched through rain on October 22.
This was the latest of weekly solidarity rallies with the people's uprising in Iran.
Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Greens Senator Larissa Waters among the speakers.
The long march was passionate and determined call on the community to "be our voice" — to amplify the demands of the uprising in Iran.
