An estimated 50,000 people marched through the city on October 29 in the biggest march yet against Israel's latest genocidal attack on Gaza.

The size of this demonstration greatly eclipsed a pro-Israeli government rally held earlier that day, with Chalmers Street filled across with demonstrators for several blocks as the march wound its way from Hyde Park North to Belmore Park.

The Anthony Albanese Labor government of Australia was condemned by the pro-Palestinian demonstrators for “supporting genocide”.

The march was organised by the Palestine Action Group Sydney, which has also organised another demonstration on Saturday November 4, 1pm, starting at Hyde Park North.
