The NSW Liberal-National government wants to sell 600 Elizabeth St, Redfern — vacant public land that was previously 100% public housing — to property developers.
A rally on April 2 demanded 100% public housing on any redevelopment of this site. A free BBQ was provided by the Maritime Union of Australia and Shelter NSW in collaboration with Action for Public Housing.
