Adelaide Protest: Welfare Not Warfare

The AUKUS nuclear submarines are a disaster for students. They push us closer to war, are a colossal waste of money, and will mean dumping of nuclear waste on Indigenous land - likely in our state.

Yet South Australian universities have announced hundreds of places for programs to support the AUKUS nuclear submarine deal. Albanese and our Vice-Chancellors want to use students for their wasteful and dangerous project.

So we're protesting to demand our universities cut ties with AUKUS and the military.

Join the National Union of Students to demand:

1. No to the AUKUS military alliance
2. Money for welfare and housing, not nuclear submarines
3. No to universities collaborating with AUKUS and the military
4. No nuclear waste dumps on Aboriginal land
