A protest outside Blackrock and Barclays Bank against their continued support for Adani/Bravus Carmichael coal mine in Western Queensland on February 8 drew about 70 people. It was organised by Move Beyond Coal.
A copy of Hindenburg Research’s expose of the corporation’s alleged fraud and tax evasion — some $160 billion — was delivered to reception. The protest then marched to Barangaroo to protest outside HSBC Holdings for its support for Adani.
