Why
Wollongong Friends of Palestine invite the everyone part of the Free Palestine movement in Gadigal (Sydney) to a meeting to plan an organising hub on Gadigal against Bisalloy Steel.
Bisalloy Steel, based in the Illawarra, manufacture armoured steel which they supply to the IOF through partnerships with Rheinmetal and Rafael, and to civilian militias across the West Bank and the 1948 Occupied Territories. This steel is used for tanks, armoured cars, police vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, and has potential applications for checkpoint stations.
This meeting aims to introduce Bisalloy to our Sydney-based comrades, explain why it has become a focus for Wollongong Friends of Palestine, and to facilitate the formation of a self-organised group in Gadigal and elsewhere that might support the organisation of pickets and other actions aimed at halting Bisalloy's support of the Zionist entity.
