The Blue Mountains Peace Collective is holding a Public Meeting. The theme is "AUKUS & the UN Treaty to Ban Nuclear Weapons".

$368 billion cost for nuclear subs and AUKUS; increasing tensions between nuclear armed nations; militarization of Northern Australia; the need for Australia to sign the UN Treaty on Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

Speakers will include:

  • Brian Toohey - Walkley Award winning Journalist and author of multiple books on military and security services
  • Gem Romuld - director for the Nobel Prize winning International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons Australia
