On Dangerous Ground — Landmines are cheap to produce and deadly. They are no longer just a weapon of war, but rather a weapon against civilians. They kill 15,000 civilians a year and maim thousands more. This program looks at the profit, the politics and the pain. SBS, Saturday, November 28, 7.45pm.

Global Warming — In Japan in December, a global warming treaty designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the industrialised countries is to be signed. The Australian government is coming under international pressure to agree to reductions. This documentary, narrated by David Suzuki, explores the consequences of a failure to reduce emissions. SBS, Sunday, November 30, 7.30pm.

Blue Eyed — US reformer Jane Elliott creates a scenario so that middle-class whites can experience a taste of what it is like to be systematically discriminated against. People with brown eyes are considered smarter, better, more socialised and more responsible, and therefore granted special privileges. People with blue eyes are treated as less intelligent, less qualified, slow learners, prone to error and smelling bad. In this situation the blue-eyed group can never win. Switzerland's Lost Honour — A damning expose, by Swiss television, of Switzerland's collaboration with the Nazis beneath the veneer of neutrality. It uncovers rampant anti-Semitism and the deportation of Jewish refugees, and reveals evidence that Swiss arms factories manufactured weapons for Hitler. SBS, Tuesday, December 2, 8.30pm.

Movie: Gangsters (1992) — In postwar Italy, a group of ex-partisans continues the struggle against fascism. SBS, Tuesday, December 2, 11.30pm.

Bohemian Rhapsody: Rebels of Australian Culture — A funny and controversial doco about the artists, stirrers and iconoclasts who kicked Australia into the future. It is both a history of visions that have changed the nation and a celebration of the eccentric thinkers who defied the conventions of their time. From the modernist avant-gardes of Melbourne's depression and war years and the libertarians of the Sydney Push to the irreverent subcultures of today. ABC-TV, Wednesday, December 3, 8.30pm.
