Seven Deadly Sins — Peter Sellers conceived this production of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's final collaboration specially for the screen. ABC-TV, Sunday, November 9, 11pm.

Taxi to Timbuktu — New York, Paris and Tokyo are viewed through the eyes of an African villager from one of the poorest nations on earth, who leads us on a trip through some of the wealthiest and busiest cities in the world. SBS, Sunday, November 9, 11.20pm.

Mabo: Life of an island Man — The story of Eddie Koiki Mabo, the man who fought Australia's legal system to win recognition of his people's land rights. His success has had an enormous impact on Australian politics. ABC-TV, Wednesday, November 12, 8.30pm.

Sexing the Label — A journey by Anna Broinowski (producer and co-director of the award-winning Hell Bento) into the identity politics of sexuality and gender in the 1990s. Sexual labels have become a political tool which can empower or dispossess, Broinowski argues. SBS, Tuesday, November 11, 9.30pm.

Movie: Stand Up, Don't Bend Over (1992) — Huang Jianxin's vivid and realistic film reveals the impact of the changes brought about by the pursuit of material wealth on Chinese society by following the daily lives of three ordinary families living in the same building.
