Unknown Images: The Vietnam War — Previously unreleased and censored footage from the Vietnam War. With growing opposition to the war at home and ferocious resistance in Vietnam, troop morale is low. John Wayne, dying of cancer, is sent to Vietnam to lift the US soldiers' spirits. "Rest and recreation" is not without its dangers as an educational film points out: "Vietnam is a strange country with strange and lovely girls and some even stranger diseases".
