Court solidarity action for climate activists

The Queensland Government’s failed attempt to silence the Climate Defenders who protested inside Parliament in November 2022, finally comes to an end.

The group of climate protestors will have their day in court after two years of delay.

These people have had the book thrown at them for a peaceful three-minute protest during Question Time in Qld parliament, calling for a stop to coal and gas projects.

Our governments are criminalising climate protest while ignoring the climate crisis.
