Why

We are proud to announce our second event: on Saturday April the 5th at 5:45pm we will be screening the 2025 Academy Award for Best Documentary winner: No Other Land.

Shot over four years by Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers it documents the IDF and Settler efforts to remove the community of Masafer Yatta from the West Bank, all

too relevant now as coupled with its assault on Gaza Israel has placed the West Bank under complete lockdown and escalated expulsions and Settlement expansions.

This will be followed by a Q&A.
Entry is free, but we do ask for a donation to UNRWA.
Box Hill Library is very easy to get to being a short walk from the Box Hill railway station, Box Hill Central rooftop bus bay, and the 109 tram terminus.

The meeting room is wheelchair accessible, via a lift.
