A Stockholm International Peace Research Institute report in 2023 showed that the United States and its NATO allies account for more than half of the world’s military spending reflects the continued dominance of Western Imperialism within capitalism.

Yet why is this the case? How should the left respond to the role of China and Russia? How should we look at the emergence of BRISC as a alternative capitalist power-bloc? And why does the West continue to support and arm Israel whilst it commits genocide in Gaza?
