Please note we have made the difficult decision to move away from doing weekly rallies in Sydney. We should all be very proud of the amazing movement we have built and sustained for the past 16 months. We have stood tall, united and defiant for Gaza and Palestinian liberation, in our thousands, and in the face of constant hostility from the political and media establishment in Australia. More people than ever before have mobilised for a free Palestine, and we are one of the only cities in the world which has done so on a weekly basis for so long.
We need to keep up this fight to get Israel out of Gaza and the West Bank, to demand a permanent Israeli ceasefire, to let Gaza rebuild, and to see freedom, justice and equality for all Palestinians from the river to the sea. And we must continue to demand that our government stops arming the criminal Israeli regime.
We want everyone to use these weeks to help us build for a major demonstration on Sunday 2 March, which coincides with the end of phase 1 of the ceasefire deal, a critical moment, at which Netanyahu has threatened to resume the wholesale slaughter, and at a time when Trump has openly floated his genocidal desire to "clean out" Gaza.
