National day of action — May 13.

In all capital cities, plus Newcastle, Wollongong and Lismore (add your city — contact ASIET now!)

Demand that the Australian government:

  • Repeal all of the racist anti-refugee laws!

  • Let the Timorese refugees stay!

  • Waive visa requirements for all Timorese who want to enter or work in Australia!

  • Provide a minimum of 1000 scholarships per year for Timorese to study in Australia!

Get involved, join the action! Contact your local ASIET committee or, if no committee exists in your town, contact the ASIET national office and find out what you can do to help ASIET make the national day of action a success.
