Members of Sydney's Kurdish community rallied at Sydney Town Hall on January 22 to protest escalating attacks on Kurds in Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria.
“An injustice done to one person is a threat to the whole community,” said Democratic Kurdish Community Centre co-chair Gule Rose in a statement read to the rally.
She invited the broader community to “join us in our struggle against all the oppression, torture, isolation polices and massacres”.
