Obviously not with the PR department

"The people there are dead because we wanted them dead." — comment to CNN by an unidentified Pentagon official on the obliteration by US helicopter-gunships on October 22 of the Afghan village of Chowkar-Karez.

Ours are virtuous

"This is an evil man we're dealing with and I wouldn't put it past him to develop evil weapons to try to harm civilization as we know it." — George "The Crusader" Bush, claiming Osama bin Laden is seeking nuclear weapons.

After we run our bombing targets in Afghanistan...

"Al-Qaeda operates in more than 60 nations including some in central and eastern Europe." — George the Crusader, in a satellite address to a conference of East European leaders in Warsaw, November 6.

Psychiatrists call this 'projection'

"We see the same intolerance of dissent, the same mad global ambitions, the same brutal determination to control every life and all of life." — George the Crusader again.

Eco-warrior

"German foreign minister Joschka Fischer has warned his Green Party that he will quit [the party] unless it backs the government's move to send troops to help the US-led anti-terror campaign." — November 8 Agence France Presse bulletin.
