PERTH/BOORLOO! We are calling on you once more.
Between the 26-28th July, people from all over Australia are coming together once again in their communities to rally against men’s violence.
The rallies we organised in April brought together over 100,000 people nationwide. As a result, we have now established the National Rally Collective, to ensure the conversation against men’s violence continues because the number of deaths is sadly still increasing.
43 women have now been killed since the start of 2024, and we are beyond fed up. Domestic, family & sexual violence are at an all time high and not enough is being done about it.
This epidemic impacts heavily on our marginalized communities such as our First Nations women and children, our Queer community and on those with a disability.
We are urging everyone to attend this rally. Bring your signs, bring your loved ones and bring your voices. Most importantly, bring your kindness and compassion.
We will have speakers and some reflection before marching from Forrest Chase to Parliament House, before having a closing ceremony.
All are welcome, especially the men in our lives!
