Demonstrators descended on NSW parliament on March 15 after a Greens and Labor sponsored motion for a moratorium on all coal seam gas exploration licences was voted down by the Liberal-National, Shooters and Fishers and Christian Democrat members of the Legislative Council. Later that day, a petition, signed by more than 20,000 people, calling for a moratorium on all CSG projects was briefly "debated" in NSW parliament. Coalition MPs spoke against the call for a moratorium.

This State Government has let the people of NSW down big time he is just like all the reast of them think of nothing esle but money We should stand up and say enough is enough and fight against this
