SYDNEY — A snap protest called by the Stop the War Coalition outside John Howard's office on February 25 called on the PM to reverse the decision to send an extra 450 troops to Iraq. Speakers argued that Australia should not be propping up a shrinking "coalition of the willing", especially given that the majority of Iraqis are opposed to the occupation. The Stop the War Coalition is organising a "troops out" protest on March 20, the second anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Pictured is Damien Lawson from the office of Greens Senator Kerry Nettle.
