Radio 2000 FM Sydney — A new public radio station has begun broadcasting in Sydney. It is operated by the Multicultural Community Radio Association and says it will devote 20% of its air time to "cross-cultural communication" in English. About 30 language groups will use the station's facilities. Radio 2000 FM will broadcast around the clock on a frequency of 98.5 FM.
