Why

There are up to ten thousand asylum seekers, including Tamils, who have been living as refugees without permanent residency for over twelve years. It is unjust to deny these individuals the right to permanent residency, especially considering they have contributed to society by working and paying taxes like any other Australian. The purpose of this rally is to urge the Australian government to grant these asylum seekers permanent residency. We extend a heartfelt invitation to all Tamil organizations, refugee activists, and supporters to join us and stand in solidarity with those seeking justice and stability.
