Why

This year's threatened species day is particularly important to give a voice to our incredible unique animals, plants and places we love so much across Queensland. Which a state election just around the corner it is important to make those voices heard, join us for a march from Queens Gardens to Parliament House on the last sitting week before the state election.

Did you know over 1000 species in Queensland are threatened with extinction? This threatened species day we need to STAND UP FOR NATURE to ensure our incredible wildlife, plants and their habitat can recover and thrive.

We are bringing the bush back to the city! Join us for a fun and creative action, using the power of theatre and creativity we are celebrating and our incredible wildlife and highlighting what we risk of loosing forever.

Come dressed as your favourite threatened species or use large photos and art to express your love for our unique species, a giant Greater Glider puppet will be leading the show.
