Refugees who have been living on temporary visas for 12 years have established a protest camp outside the office of Labor MP Julian Hill in Robinson Street in Dandenong.
This is the second camp established by refugees in the metropolitan area to demand permanent visas.
The camp outside the Home Affairs department in Bourke Street, Docklands, continues.
The Dandenong camp has been already attacked four times by racists. A woman was pushed over and injured her leg. Nevertheless, the refugees are determined to continue.
Supporters are welcome to visit both camps.
