The She Matters Stop Killing Women rally has been confirmed for Boorloo/Perth
The rallies will bring attention to Australia's femicide epidemic, while calling for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and Premier Roger Cook to roll out meaningful budgetary measures, policy, legal changes and action to end violence against women in our country.
Each rally will commemorate the 116 women killed since January 1, 2024.
12 women have been killed this year and 103 women were lost last year.
This national protest will put pressure on every political party and candidate as we head into this year’s election.
We need to end domestic violence, stranger violence, associate violence, femicide, murder, sexual assault, sexual harassment and misogyny.
The rallies are organised and funded by Australian Femicide Watch and The RED HEART Campaign. They are community driven and coordinated and staffed by an incredible group of women who are giving their time freely.
