BRISBANE — On June 3-5, 30 people attended the "Rage against the regime" socialist activist camp at the Maranatha camp site in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Organised by the Brisbane branch of the socialist youth organisation Resistance, the camp featured talks and discussions on a broad range of socialist theory and practice, as well as developing activist skills.

A highlight of the camp was a panel on workers' and peasants' struggles in Latin America, featuring Resistance activist Lewis Corkhill, Guatemalan revolutionary Ovideo Orellana and the Democratic Socialist Perspective's Andrew Martin.
