A solidarity rally on September 10, called by the Retail and Fast Food Workers Union (RAFFWU) and Readings bookshop workers, mobilised more than 100 supporters, including from the United Workers Union outside the Readings Bookstore in Carlton.
Readings workers are resisting a two-year wage freeze and demanding a living wage, secure jobs and better working conditions.
The rally heard from RAFFWU delegates at Readings, along with a delegate from the United Workers Union.
