Stand with us this Thursday to join in sending a strong message to forest mining shareholders outside bauxite miner South32’s Annual General Meeting in Boorloo / Perth.
South32’s operations are destroying vast areas of the most biodiverse temperate forests on Earth. Bauxite mining threatens the survival of the entire Northern Jarrah ecosystem on Boorloo / Perth’s doorstep and is wiping out the endangered wildlife these forests support. South32’s irreversible damage to Country and cultural heritage, communities’ water security, important farmland, forests, and climate, must stop. Their expansion plans must be rejected and workers be provided a fair transition.
Join us on Thursday to send the message that West Australians want an end to forest mining.
