January 26th is an national day of mourning and action for Indigenous liberation around Australia. What's at issue is more than what day is reserved for jingoistic celebrations, but a day to stand in solidarity with Indigenous Australians in the ongoing fight for land rights, freedom from incarceration, and genuine and material sovereignty.
