For seven weeks, Israel has bombarded Gaza remorselessly. More than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed, including more than 6,000 children.
Gaza faces a humanitarian catastrophe. More than 1.5 million people - three quarters of Gaza's population - have been made homeless.
A fragile ceasefire - a “humanitarian pause” is currently in place. However, Israel remains committed to resuming its genocidal war.
To date, the Australian government has refused to call on Israel to end its war on Palestinians and withdraw its occupation forces from Gaza.
Join us to stand in solidarity with Palestine and demand:
- Stop the war on Gaza!
- End the blockade of food, water, fuel and medical supplies!
- End the Israeli occupation!
- Cut Australian ties with Apartheid Israel!
- Free Palestine!
We remind everyone that the struggle for a free Palestine is an anti-racist struggle. We condemn and oppose all forms of racism, including antisemitism and Islamophobia. Ours is a struggle against the state of Israel, not against Jewish people, many of whom oppose Zionism, and who have a long history of being part of our movement for a free Palestine.
