MELBOURNE — One of Australia's most accomplished percussionists, Ray Pereira, will team up with visiting West African musician Nii Tetteh Tettey to perform at a Green Left Weekly cultural night on March 22. The theme of the evening is "End racism, free the refugees!"

The cultural night, organised by the western suburbs Resistance Centre, is one of a series of activities to build the Palm Sunday "Justice for Refugees" rally on March 24.

The cultural night is on at 7.30pm, March 22, at Church Hall, 10a Hyde Street, Footscray. Tickets are $15 (waged) and $10 (unwaged). Drinks and tapas available. Bookings are essential. Phone 9318 6065 or 9687 0789.
