Inner Space — Riley Lee — The Story of Shakuhachi — The shakuhachi, a simple bamboo flute, was introduced into Japan from China over 1200 years ago. It is used for meditation music and is described as a most expressive instrument. Riley Lee is one of the best contemporary players of the instrument. Sunday Live A program of Australian women's compositions that complements the National Gallery of Victoria's exhibitions and events Celebrating Women 1994.
