For some time now, Green Left has been plugged into the information superhighway. Through the Pegasus network, we draw information and the occasional article and upload the text of the paper each week.

Those with access have been able to read Green Left free from the Internet every week. Green Left articles have been "posted" electronically around the world, read and reproduced in a range of countries.

Reading Green Left on the Internet has never been quite the same as the real thing, though. There are no graphics, no pictures, only two-dimensional text. That's all about to change.

For several months, a group of supporters have been plugging away at the electronic face of Green Left. Before long, surfers of the Internet will be able not only to read Green Left but also to look at some of the graphics. Before long, Green Left will make an entry into the World Wide Web in style.

Green Left Weekly is committed to reaching the broadest possible audience. Today, a growing part of this audience is "on line".

Green Left has big plans to expand, improve and consolidate over this year. The only thing that stands in our way is the cost. Green Left receives no government subsidy and no corporate sponsorship. We rely on our supporters — those on paper and those on line.

You can play a part in taking Green Left into the 21st century. Subscribe to the paper, or make a donation. Every contribution counts. Green Left Weekly — it's your newspaper. n
