Fund appeal off to good start

The 1996 Green Left Weekly $120,000 fund appeal has made a very promising start. So far, close to $13,000 has been collected around the country. The establishment newspapers include a very large proportion of advertising, which provides the bulk of their income. The news to advertising ratio is quite low.
