SAN FRANCISCO, September 20 — Dolores Huerta, a co-founder of the United Farm Workers, walks at the head of the march which began the "Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride". Marchers are leaving from cities across the west coast of the US and proceeding to Washington, and then New York. They will arrive at the end of the month. The purpose is to pressure US Congress and President George Bush's administration to reform US immigration laws, including an amnesty for undocumented workers.
