SYDNEY — Participants in the Asia Pacific International Solidarity Conference rally in Redfern on March 26 demanding justice for TJ Hickey, a young Aboriginal man who died while being chased by police. Hickey's family presented documents outlining the case to conference guest Helmuth Markov, a member of the European parliament and the Party of Democratic Socialism of Germany. Markov will present these to the European parliament and argue for it to take up the case with the Australian government.
