Why

There are still 10,000 asylum seekers and refugees who the Albanese government is refusing to grant permanent visas after ten years of living in limbo in Australia. Many were unfairly rejected under the Coalition's Fast Track processing system.

Even the transition of those on Temporary Protection Visas to permanent is taking far too long, with only around a quarter of the 19,000 made permanent so far.

Refugee Neil Para's 1000 kilometre walk for freedom has highlighted the uncertainty and plight of thousands of refugees with no working rights or Medicare.

Join this rally to again call on the government to deliver permanent visas for all refugees.
