Join your nearest climate strike on November 17.

School students from across the country will leave their classrooms and join protests on November 17 demanding that Labor stop approving new coal and gas projects.

The School Strike 4 Climate aims to #ShiftThePower away from climate-destroying fossil fuel companies after a year of record-breaking temperatures and with bushfire season looming.

Already, thousands of fires have broken out across the country, with many concerned about a repeat of the 2019–20 Black Summer bushfires.

Meanwhile, environment minister Tanya Plibersek has already proved four new coal mines since May last year, and more than 10 fossil fuel projects overall.

It is more important than ever to join the November 17 climate strike and support the students fighting for real climate action.
