Poets/ performance artists can apply to perform on the night
AND/OR
submit a text or video work for inclusion in the Letters from Gadigal to Gaza chapbook to be produced following the event.
Please send through an EOI to markelapanegyres@gmail.com by April 15 2024. The event will be held on May 4
This is the call from Ashtar theatre:
Building upon the success of the original Gaza Monologues call in November 2023, which will continue indefinitely, and to amplify voices from around the world expressing solidarity, empathy, and hope for Gaza and Palestine, we are launching a second phase of the project under the name Letters to Gaza.
Donations for the event will go to Ashtar theatre’s Psycho-social relief intervention – Palestine project and GL.
You are free to address a person, a place or an idea associated with Gaza as well as any format from a letter, a poem, song, prose, drawing, or any creative expression.…. If you represent a theatre, institution, or group, consider announcing an open call for submissions locally and organising a public reading of selected submissions.
