Why

Luke Espiritu is a Filipino labour leader and a campaigner for workers rights and social justice.

A trained lawyer, Luke has dedicated himself to fighting for the rights of the lowest paid workers in the uber driving and transport sector. Luke is the PLM senate candidate for the upcoming 2025 elections and a founding member of PLM - the Partido Lakas ng Masa (Party of the Laboring Masses, PLM).

Luke will talk about the struggles of the poor recovering against floods and other capitalist induced climate disasters, the campaigns against the President Ferdinand Marcos Jnr’s shameless subservience to US imperialist interests, and the battles for workers rights and liveable wages. All welcome.
