Free Palestine, fight Trump
End the U.S. Alliance
Cut all ties with Israel
On Tuesday February 11, a warmongering conference hosted by the U.S Studies Centre will bring together representatives from the Albanese and Minns governments, genocide profiteers like BAE Systems and senior management staff from UNSW, ANU and Sydney Uni.
The conference will discuss “Rising to the challenge: Delivering Australia’s nuclear-powered submarine program”. BAE Systems has won a $7.6 billion contract to help deliver the nuclear subs as part of the AUKUS military pact with the U.S. and the UK.
BAE Systems are merchants of death. They provide the Israeli Air Force with essential systems for the F-15, F-16, and, F-35 fighter jets used to carry out the genocide in Gaza.
Trump has declared he wants to raze Gaza and ethnically cleanse Palestinians and welcomed Benjamin Netanyahu, a wanted war criminal, to the White House.
But disgracefully Albanese remains committed to AUKUS and deepening the alliance with the U.S. Staff from his Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Defence will attend the conference.
AUKUS and the $368 billion nuclear subs are part of a push by Albanese to deepen the U.S. alliance. This means entering a bloody embrace with Donald Trump’s maniac regime.
Albanese is making Australia a key part of the U.S. killing machine. Last year the U.S. used Australian air-base Tindal to attack Yemen with nuclear weapons-capable B2 bombers. The Pine Gap spy base in the N.T provides intelligence to the U.S. which is passed on to Israel.
The U.S. does not have to notify the Australian government if aircraft and submarines rotating through Australia are carrying nuclear weapons.
The Albanese government wants to make universities part of the war machine. Senior university staff linked to the arms industry will attend the event like Sydney Uni Pro-Vice Chancellor Benjamin Eggleton.
Sydney Uni’s U.S. Studies Centre which is hosting the event has previously had to declare it is receiving money from the U.S. State Department under the Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme.
Fight back! Join the protest outside the conference organised by Students Against War and Stop the War on Palestine.
