🔗Event hosted by: Whistleblower Justice Fund, Alliance Against Political Prosecutions (AAPP), Truth Not War.

In May 2024, David McBride was sentenced to prison for blowing the whistle on unaccountable military leadership and war crimes committed by the Australian military in Afghanistan. His unjust prosecution highlights the egregious lack of protections for whistleblowers in Australia.

He is now appealing this injustice. For years, the public has stood alongside David as he fights this battle for truth. We must do it again while signalling to the government that we will continue fighting for David and other wrongfully prosecuted whistleblowers.

In addition to attending the rally outside the courtroom, we know filling the courtroom with support on Monday will be deeply appreciated by David. The appeal will likely go for most of the day, so please join inside for as long as you can spare.

Note: This will be a public courtroom but you will not be able to bring in signs and banners.
