Malcolm X Now: Prophet and Profit — In The Mix continues its look at Malcolm X. Includes the voices of Public Enemy, Betty Shabazz, Amiri Baraka (aka Leroi Jones) and Tiga Bayles. ABC Radio National, Mon Sept 28, 10.05 a.m. and 8.35 p.m.

Radio 2000 FM Sydney — A new public radio station has begun broadcasting in Sydney. It is operated by the Multicultural Community Radio Association and says it will devote 20% of its air time to "cross-cultural communication" in English. About 30 language groups will use the station's facilities. Radio 2000 FM will broadcast around the clock on a frequency of 98.5 FM.
