The Labor government can address Hazara genocide by granting Hazara refugees permanent residence and citizenship and by bringing the Hazara refugees abandoned in Indonesia to Australia, Hazara student and community activist Nazanin Sharifi told a rally against Hazara genocide on October 8.
"I feel ashamed to send my sympathies to the Hazara families who have lost their daughters who just wanted to have an education because for far too long the world has sent just that," said Sharifi told the protest which was attended by up to 1000 people.
However, she said, the Anthony Albanese Labor government can address Hazara genocide by granting Hazara refugees permanent residence and citizenship and by bringing the Hazara refugees abandoned in Indonesia to Australia.
