Peace and anti-war groups came together in Sydney to join the global protest against Russia's war in Ukraine on March 6. They also called for an end to NATO's expansionism, not forgetting the West's meddling and provocations. Greens NSW MLC David Shoebridge, Ukraine-Australia activist Anastasia Radievska, Claude Mostowick Msc, author and commentator Antony Loewenstein and Kate Lee from Union Aid Abroad all gave powerful anti-war speeches. Patrick Harte and friends sang some moving anti-war songs.
