The Islamic Schools in NSW, endorsed by ISAA, have organised a Silent Vigil as an avenue for children to stand up for children.
ALL members of our community are invited for a Children for Children Silent Vigil. The purpose of this vigil is to remember the young souls who have been affected by the ongoing genocide in Palestine. This will be a peaceful and respectful space where we can reflect on the importance of empathy, compassion, and unity, irrespective of geographical boundaries.
Event Details
Date: Sunday, 05/11/2023
Time: 4:30pm – 6:30pm

Attendees are encouraged to bring a toy to hold during the silent vigil to symbolise the innocence of the children of Palestine. Monetary donations will be collected with eftpos facilities available through the Gaza Children’s fund. There will be a banner allocated in a particular area for attendees to leave a message of hope and support to the people of Palestine, which we anticipate the local council to display in the community.
