Palestine Children’s Day is observed on April 5th of every year. In 1995, Yasser Arafat started the commemorative day as a way of shedding light on the injustices and struggles that Palestinian children confront under occupation. Join us in commemorating the Palestinian child’s day this year, a time when the children of Palestine are suffering all kinds of atrocities and being starved in the hands of a brutal occupation.
Children deserve to live in peace and feel safe and secure, something the children of Palestine do not enjoy.
Let’s march for the children of Palestine and join our children who will lead the march, give speeches and sing for the kids of Gaza.
We will conclude our event with some children’s activities starting from 12 pm with a family yoga and meditation for peace facilitated by @yourbrightbeginning and craft activities by @happy_bush_kids_academy
Optional: kids to wear Palestinian flag colours. We still have spots for children speakers if your child would like to talk on the day, please send a message to the @perthmumsforpalestine Instagram page.
