Why

Israel's genocide in Gaza continues without respite. More than 44,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in the past 13 months, with 44% of victims being children and 26% women, according to the UNHCR. More than 80 percent were killed in residential buildings.

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, more than 137 journalists have been killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023, a deliberate attempt by Israel to hide its crimes.

Over the same period, at least 333 humanitarian workers have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza, according to the UN. Palestinians are been systematically starved across the besieged territory. And Israel's banning of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) from the Occupied Palestinian Territories will only accelerate the crisis.

Throughout the genocide, Israel's Western backers, including the Australian government, have refused to limit the flow of arms or impose any meaningful sanctions on Israel. Both Israel and the US have thumbed their noses at the International Criminal Court's decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence minister Yoav Gallant.

Join us to rally and march through Fremantle Streets on 7th December. Our rally will feature musical performances by Emily Barker and Lucy Peach.

We demand the Australian government:
- immediately expel the Israel ambassador and recall Australia's ambassador from Tel Aviv
- impose trade sanctions on Israel
- impose a two-way arms embargo on Israel and encourage other nations to do the same.
